EMDR, TRAUMA, ANXIETY, & DEPRESSION | THERAPIST IN nj & PA
Here, you have permission to be authentically you.
Meet siobhan strickhart, lpc
It’s time to reclaim the parts of you that have always been there—or step into the version of yourself you’ve long imagined.
Life shapes us in quiet and unexpected ways—through our histories, relationships, and the weight we carry. Even when we’ve done everything we can to manage alone, there comes a moment when reaching out changes everything.
I’m here to help you reconnect with your core, and uncover the strength you already hold.
Your story matters—every piece of it. Where you’ve been, how you’ve adapted, the ways you’ve survived—they all speak to your resilience. Now it’s time to turn that same energy inward, to tend to yourself with care, and move forward with a clearer sense of who you are—and what you truly need.
I show up to every session as my full, human self—you don’t have to perform for me, and I won’t for you.
GET TO KNOW ME
My approach is relational and humanistic, meaning we’ll grow, reflect, and learn together in real-time. I bring research, psychoeducation, and somatic tools into our work, but the foundation is always connection. I check in regularly because your perspective matters to me—I want to understand what’s working and what’s not, both from your experience and my clinical assessment. In our sessions, I keep things moving by balancing support with directness, without pushing you anywhere you’re not ready to go.
My style
I’m a down-to-earth, real-world therapist—you won’t get a blank stare or a clinical wall with me.
I don’t believe in pretending I’m not human, because part of what makes therapy work is the realness of the relationship. When it fits, I’ll bring humor into our sessions—because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. But I also take this work seriously. I’m trained in approaches like EMDR, DBT, and trauma-informed therapy, and I use these tools to help you understand what’s happening in your nervous system when old patterns get triggered.
Therapy with me isn’t a script—it’s a collaboration. I tailor each session to what you need. Some days, that might look like learning to cope ahead for a tough situation. Other times, we may focus on boundaries, emotional regulation, or learning to accept things outside of your control. I meet you where you are, with flexibility, compassion, and a commitment to your growth.
At the core of everything I do is this: I genuinely care. I show up as a real person, not just a professional. My hope is that in our work together, you’ll feel seen, supported, and empowered to make the changes that matter most to you.

Not sure if we’re the right fit? Just reach out—I’d love to chat.
